Events And Recent Cases

At Grewal Law PLLC, we are honored to represent the strong, courageous survivors of sexual abuse and assault. These individuals are making their voices heard by taking action, and are inspiring others to do the same.

Please read on to find out more about some of our recent cases:

Larry Nassar

Larry Nassar, the ex-Michigan State University, USA Gymnastics, and Olympic team doctor, was accused of molesting hundreds of young women during medical exams and treatment. More than 200 women testified against him in court at his criminal sentencing hearing.

In 1997, one of our clients, Larissa Boyce, told then-MSU Head Gymnastics Coach Kathie Klages that she had been sexually abused by Larry Nassar. Had MSU taken action then, hundreds—if not thousands—would have been spared from abuse. As early as 2015, USA Gymnastics learned of concerns expressed by athletes about Nassar's practices. Since then, hundreds of victims have come forward. Nassar was sentenced to 40 to 125 years in prison.

George Tyndall

George Tyndall was a gynecologist at the University of California. At least 52 people have come forward accusing him of sexual misconduct during medical exams. Some of the actions he was accused of include touching patients in a medically unnecessary way, making inappropriate remarks about genitalia, requiring patients to remove all clothing for exams and taking photos of genitalia. Throughout his career, he may have seen more than 10,000 patients.
